Alcantud es un municipio español de la provincia de Cuenca, en la comunidad autónoma de Castilla-La Mancha. Alcantud se encuentra a unos cinco kilómetros del río del mismo nombre, y a seis kilómetros de Vindel y Arandilla del Arroyo. Recorre sus tierras el río Guadiela. Tiene las siguientes coordenadas 40° 33′ norte. 2° 20′ oeste. 851 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Tiene una densidad de población en el año 2.016 de 65 habitantes.

Siguiendo con las activaciones de este verano, en esta ocasión los amigos EA5INC, EA5AT y EA5TW, pusieron en el aire el municipio de Alcantud valedero para el diploma de Municipios de España D.M.E. 16009 perteneciente a la provincia de Cuenca. Se trabajó la banda de 40 metros en ssb, con un total de 273 comunicados. El Log Esta actividad ya ha sido subido y validado en el GDURE y las qsl’s ya mandadas a todos los socios de URE.
