Albalat de la Ribera es un municipio de la Comunidad Valenciana, España. Situado en la provincia de Valencia, en la comarca de la Ribera Baja. Cuenta con 3.467 habitantes. También llamado a veces por los habitantes con la denominación histórica completa de Albalat de la Ribera de Xúquer. Con esta activación, hemos estrenado el año de actividades de la UREV, después de varios intentos, por fin hoy día 16 de febrero del 2018, hemos podido activar desde el campo de vuelo de ultraligeros de ALBALAT de la RIBERA, la primera intención, era haber puesto en el aire, la referencia del parque natural de la albufera, pero finalmente, solo hemos puesto en el aire el DME 46008. Estamos muy contentos, no por el resultado final del log, que han sido 206 contactos hasta las 18h, sino porque hemos contado con la colaboración de varios compañeros, que han asistido por primera vez a una activación de estas características.
