El municipio de Villavelayo pertenece a la provincia y Comunidad Autónoma de La Rioja, comarca Alto Najerilla formando parte de las 7 villas, situado en la parte sudoccidental de la Sierra de la Demanda a una altitud de 940 m, Tiene una superficie de 89,07 km² con una población de 48 habitantes (I.N.E. 2017) y una densidad de 0,54 hab/km2.
The municipality of Villavelayo belongs to the province and Autonomous Community of La Rioja, Alto Najerilla region forming part of the 7 villas, located in the southwestern part of the Sierra de la Demanda at an altitude of 940 m, It has an area of 89.07 km² with a population of 48 inhabitants (INE 2017) and a density of 0.54 inhabitants / km2.
Como fin de las actividades, el pasado día 20/07/2018 se puso en el aire el ya mencionado municipio por el equipo EA5URV, con los habituales operadores EA5INC, EA5AT & EA5TW. Estuvimos situados en una pista que esta pasando la ermita y desde allí divisábamos todo el pueblo. En esta ocasión se realizaron 323 qso´s. Con esta andadura se llegó al final de las actividades de la EA5URV, esperamos realizar más y mejor el año que viene muchas gracias a todos por vuestros contactos 73 Dx.
